powRgrip^® warranty

REGO‐FIX guarantees the surface treatment of all powRgrip collets for 5 years or 20,000 cycles * to not wear causing poor TIR. Proper  operating instructions of the powRgrip system must be followed in order for the warranty to be valid. This warranty is in effect for all collets purchased on or after November 1, 2016. All warranty claims must be sent to REGO‐FIX for evaluation with the original purchase date and distributor information. All evaluated claims will be based on an inspection followed by a review with the customer. The warranty does not cover collets misused, mishandled, or damaged by dirt or debris scratching the surface treatment. This warranty is for powRgrip collets only and does not cover or imply to cover any holders, machines, or machined parts damaged by customers with warranty claims. In case of defective product, REGO-FIX will replace the defective product as soon as possible. Any further warranty or liability such as but not limited to indirect damages or product liability herewith is, as far as legally permitted, expressly excluded.

Data protection

We seriously observe privacy protection. Thus we use the transmitted personal data exclusively for sending the requested information and not for advertising purposes. However, your enquiry may be answered by one of our sales partners.  

Use-of-potential analysis

We aim to set up this page as user-friendly as possible. In order to learn more about the user interests, we track which contents of this webpage are visited frequently and for a long time and which ones are skipped  immediately. For these matters we use the analytical statistics from Google Analytics (Google Inc.). However, we are not able to identify the user himself. On our Webpage the code extension “anonymizeIP” is installed which deletes the last 8 bit of the IP numbers automatically. Therefore we only receive anonymised data. We solely note trends (such as sources, visitor flow, clicks, bouncing rates etc.) – without any conclusions of users or their personal data.

Preventing data collection

Google Analytics generally records data of website visitors via HTTP-Cookies and provides them in form of statistics. However, the web browser’s software can be adjusted to disable the set-up of cookies.  

If the set-up of cookies is enabled, data gets collected, forwarded and saved on a Google server. Google may transmit this information to third parties (according to statutory provisions or other requirements).

If you don’t disable the set-up of cookies on your computer, you automatically accept handling and transmission of your data via Google Analytics for application and purpose as outlined above.

Official Manufacturer’s Statement “Safety, Liability, and Warranty”

The REGO-FIX powRgrip® PGU Hydraulic Clamping Unit has been tested, approved, and validated exclusively in combination with original REGO-FIX products and components, in accordance with the applicable safety and conformity requirements. The use of non-original, unlicensed, or third-party component, particularly replica or copycat press-fit toolholders and/or collets, is not approved by REGO-FIX.

The use of such non-approved components may impair proper function and safety and may result in unsafe operating conditions. Any approvals, validations, or conformity statements issued by REGO-FIX apply solely to the tested configuration using original REGO-FIX components.

Safety
The use of non-approved components may expose operators and third parties to increased risk. REGOFIX cannot ensure the safe operation of the PGU when non-original components are used. 

Liability
REGO-FIX assumes no liability for damages, defects, malfunctions, or safety incidents caused by or related to the use of non-original, unlicensed, or third-party components, improper use, or operation outside the intended use and contrary to REGO-FIX instructions. Mandatory statutory liability provisions remain unaffected.

Warranty
Any warranty or guarantee provided by REGO-FIX for the PGU shall be rendered null and void with immediate effect if non-original, unlicensed, or third-party components are used for clamping or unclamping, or if the PGU is operated outside its intended use or contrary to REGO-FIX instructions.

REGO-FIX expressly recommends the exclusive use of original REGO-FIX components. If you are uncertain about the authenticity of a product, please contact REGO-FIX prior to use.
