In 2023 REGO-FIX AG has fully equipped two CNC centers with tooling and measuring equipment at the SELAM Technical Vocational College in Addis Ababa. FRAISA SA and VISCHER & BOLLI AG have equipped the SELAM Technical Vocational College with their high-quality cutting tools and LAMPRECHT TRANSPORT AG has forwarded the entire shipment to Ethiopia also at no charge.

In December 2023 Bruno Weber gave toolholding application training to mechanical engineering teachers at the SELAM Technical Vocational College in Addis Ababa. (Due to extended school years in Ethiopia, apprenticeship programs have started again in January 2024).

SELAM was founded as a children's home and has been extended to include schools, vocational training centers, production plants, a clinic and support to the local community. Today SELAM is represented in four cities across Ethiopia with over 700 employees.
